The city of Rio Rancho, NM, is Northwest of Albuquerque, NM, and Southwest of Bernalillo, NM. The primary North-South roads in Rio Rancho are NM 528 and Unser Road (to the west of NM 528). A newly built extension of Paseo del Volcan runs south from Hiway 550, turning west and running into Unser just south of the Rio Rancho Administration Center at King Blvd. |
Take I-25 South to the Rio Rancho/Placitas exit, mile 242 (NM44/550). | |
Turn right on NM44/550 and drive 3.2 miles west to Paseo Del Volcan. | |
Turn left on Paseo Del Volcan and drive 7.2 miles south/west to Unser Blvd. | |
Turn right on Unser Blvd. and drive .6 miles north to King Blvd. (Note: A good landmark is the huge salmon pink water tower on the north-west corner of King and Unser. You can see it a long way off!
