Directions to Rio Rancho, NM
The city of Rio Rancho, NM, is Northwest of Albuquerque, NM, and Southwest of
Bernalillo, NM. The primary North-South roads in Rio Rancho are NM 528 and Unser Road (to the west of NM 528).

Take I-25 South to the Rio Rancho/Placitas exit(NM44/550), mile 242.

Turn right on NM44 and drive 2.3 miles west to NM528.
|
|
Turn left on NM528 and drive 1.9 miles south to Idalia Rd.
|
|
Turn right on Idalia Rd. and drive 2.4 miles west to Iris Rd.
|
|
Turn right on Iris Rd. and drive .5 miles north to Paseo Del Volcan.
|
|
Turn left on Paseo Del Volcan and drive 3.7 miles west to Unser Blvd.
|
|
Turn right on Unser Blvd. and drive .6 miles north to King Blvd. (Note: A good landmark is the huge salmon pink water tower on the north-west corner of King and Unser. You can see it a long way off! Here's a picture taken a block south of King, on Unser, looking north).

Take I-25 North to the Paseo Del Norte exit.

Turn left on Paseo del Norte and drive 4.7 miles west to Coors Rd
|

Turn right on Coors Rd. and drive 4.8 miles north to Southern Blvd. (Note: Coors will become Coors By-Pass, and then NM 528...just keep following it).

Turn left on Southern Blvd. and drive 2.3 miles west to Unser Blvd.

|
Turn right on Unser Blvd. and drive 5.1 miles north to King Blvd. (Note: A good landmark is the huge salmon pink water tower on the north-west corner of King and Unser. You can see it a long way off! Here's a picture taken a block south of King, on Unser, looking north).
